"My boyfriend David took me to the Old Glory Harley dealer in Laurel to look at bikes for his son. Steve had helped him before I came with him and my first introduction was Steve knowing my name and giving me a big hug!! Steve took me out to test drive a possible bike and was very helpful with information. When the tables got turned and my boyfriend started talking about a bike for me, Steve was right there with him to help. I had been missing my old bike that had to be sold when I moved years ago, so I was stoked! Steve took me out to test drive MY bike to make sure I was comfortable on it as it was much bigger. Steve was just as excited as I was that I was getting a surprise Christmas present!!! I can't say enough about how friendly the entire staff was in this process. We didn't feel pressured and the helpfulness of everyone was greatly appreciated. Coming back to do the paperwork was smooth and again there were no hard selling tactics used--just information on what's available and recommendations we were free to accept or decline. I appreciate all your assistance throughout the process of purchasing my Dyna, it was an easy, smooth and fair deal, I doubt I would have gotten the same courtesy at any other local Harley Dealer. Meanwhile, whenever Patricia and I come into your shop, we are always greeted as if we are family, you and the other staff are most gracious, a business’s success depends on all of the qualities that everyone at Old Glory consistently shows and provides.
We helped the economy on our last visit, Patricia got me a new shield (quick release), we also got many gifts while there, including 3 or 4 new leather jackets and an array of other items. As always, Peggy and the other gal (sorry I forgot her name) there were most helpful, totally showered us with courtesy and professional service. We are now so totally spoiled, if we look or shop at any other local dealer we are always disappointed with the lack of professionalism and personal service that Old Glory has made us accustomed to.

"My husband and I have been to a lot of Harley-Davidson stores and not one of them compare to the kindness and care that we received when visiting the "Old Glory" Harley-Davidson. During our first visit (just to get merchandise), we found a bike that was perfect for me. We live in NC so we were not prepared to purchase the bike. After a week passed, we decided to go back to buy the bike because everyone was so helpful and friendly. We got up early on Saturday and drove through ice and snow just to buy the bike from the wonderful people at Old Glory. After 6 longs hours on the road, we arrived and we were greeted with such warmth of kindness. The purchase of my bike was the best experience we have ever received. They took us around to each department to see what they had to offer. The service department guys went over and beyond to help make sure the bike was secured for our trip back - not to mention they installed the lojack system in such short notice. The snow was sticking to the roads and getting really messy but yet everyone was still working hard to make sure we had what we needed before getting back on the road to NC. All I have to say is it was totally worth the 12 hour drive in one day to be greeted with such kindness. And because of this, our son is going there to buy his bike. I would just like to say Thank you to everyone for the best experience ever. You all deserve the highest award ever."

"There is not enough space to tell my whole experience.
It has been great since the day Steve Corbett sold me my 2008 Dyna SuperGlide.
That day I became part of the Old Glory family. Everyone there goes out of their way to make sure you get what you need.
On September 29,2009 the rear wheel bearings blew out. I was in front of a neighbor's house at 6:58 pm. He had OG's number on his phone. I got Brittany and asked if they could stay open five or ten minutes late - she said yes. It actually was abvout 7:20 pm when I got there. They were waiting and I got the bike in that evening.
The service department took their time to check out everything and I got the bike back last night October 7, 2009.
Thank you very much! I wouldn't buy a bike or have it serviced by any other dealer!

"As a law enforcement officer, I was interested in purchasing a Peace Officer Special. For about eight months I visited half a dozen H-D dealerships in PA, MD and VA. OGHD beat all other dealerships by nearly 2K. Damn impressive, admirable and in concert with their mission statement and dedication to law enforcement, fire fighters and service men and women.
I've talked with a number of sales personnel at H-D dealerships, but never had a better experience than I did with Terry Sutton. Terry was low key, very knowledgable and made me feel at ease throughout the entire buying process. He still takes my calls, providing bits of valuable information that I never considered. Terry you are the best and I appreciate all of your help. But the assistance to customers dosen't stop with the sales staff.
The finance manager was extremely professional and still remembered me a month later when I stopped by to browse. Jason in parts went out of his way to get an accessory from another location to have it for me when I picked up the bike. Also, without directly asking, Tim ordered a part at no charge which should have been on the bike, but was not included by mistake. A small gesture in some people's view but I viewed it as OGHD taking care of their customers, doing the "right thing" and living up to the high standards that the owners have set for the dealership.
I may live more than 50 miles away, but I will always do business with OGHD because I feel like a member of that family when I walk through the doors. All you guys are the best, and have a customer for life."

"I would like very much for the owner of Old Glory Harly-Davidson to read this e-mail. My wife and I were traveling back to New York State from the state of Florida on April 29,2009, with a 25ft boat in tow. At approximately 6:30 pm we experienced bearing problems on our boat trailer near Laurel, MD and pulled off the nearest exit. Immediately upon pulling off the exit we spotted Old Glory Harley-Davidson and pulled in with a trailer wheel that was smoking. We were both exhausted from a long day on the road and we had 2 of our pets in the truck with us. We were in desperate need of some help.
Despite the fact that the Harley Dealership closed at 7pm, the service mananger , Carlos Riley and another employee ( Danny) advised that they would be happy to help me and my wife out.
I have to tell you that these guys were incredible. They dropped what they were doing and immediately began addressing my issue. Before I knew it they had both of the suspect trailer wheels off and they pulled and examined the bearings on both wheels. They discovered that the bearings were fine and that I had over-greased them, causing some grease to exit a rear seal and drip on the brake assembly, causing it to smoke. They re-packed both bearings, reassembled both wheels and assured me that we should be all set to get back to NY. These guys spent well over an hour working on my trailer, after the dealership had closed for the day. When they were done, I asked them what I owed them and they said "NOTHING" we are "happy to help you out". I could not believe what I was hearing , especially in this day and age when everyone is trying to get a dime off of all of us. I insisted on paying them and they insisted that they did not want any money. In fact one of the guys said " your wife and you have had a long, trying day, take the money and take your wife out to dinner" We left the dealership, proceeded to a hotel and got up early the next day and completed our journey to upstate NY. They did a great job on the trailer as the bearings ran cool for the rest of the trip. I cannot thank Carlos and Danny enough for the wonderful service that they gave my wife and I in a time of need. They are both CLASS ACTS and if I had to buy a Harley, I got to tell you I wouldn't hesitate to do business with Old Glory Harley-Davidson. If they treated a couple of strangers this good, I can imagine how well they take care of thier customers.

I think that overall Old Glory is a great representative of the Harley way. From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome. When you come in the door you are greeted with a smile. Although we enjoy all aspects of the dealership (parts, service and sales) I really love the motor clothes department. Peggy has made shopping for new clothes for the bike a wonderful experience. She always knows exactly what you are looking for and is willing to help you find it. Sometimes you don't even know you want.... but she will find it anyway!!! (Peggy could see ice to an Eskimo!) She truly makes each visit to OG a memorable experience- she makes you feel like family. I want to personally thank her for a fantastic fashion show on March 14. "Terry Sutton was very helpful in Sales, took the initiative to contact me quickly when a special bike I was looking for came along. The sale was done very smoothly and Terry walked me through all the details on the sale and bike specs (much more than the salesman on the last Harley I bought a year ago). I also got a fair price as well as trade-in value.
I marked down the service department a bit because they were really slow in getting the accessories set up - more than 3 hours to install a sissy bar plate and move the direction signals. They may have been short handed that day and I did buy off the street but the original time estimate was about half that. However, the work was done properly. "

"I normally distrust salesmen/salesladies and the whole hassle of being told one thing, and having it turn into something entirely different. We've all been here at least once in our lifetime. Not so two weeks ago. And you know where this is going. On the last Saturday of November, I took delivery of my brand new 09 Dyna Super Glide. My first, off the showroom floor, brand new, code numbers still on the tires, 11 miles on the speedo, smelling new
bike in over 25 years. Not only am I totally happy with the bike; I'm even more happy with the experience, and the friendliness that my wife and I received in going thru the necessary steps in makiing this purchase. My sincere thanks to everyone from (well known) Steve Corbett in sales to Margaret in parts, and the others throughout the dealership who made this a very memorable experience to say the least. And Steve........you were right friend, the little gift has arrived and is way better than the fruit basket I thought it might be! I will always return "home"

The first is "Uncle" ( read your manual) Russell in service along with Carlos and the crew and second because of the way you get treated there. "I was looking for a 2009 Ultra Redhot Sunglow. I had been to another dealer and got a price and trade-in on my present bike. When we walked in we were greeted by Terry and asked if he could help us. There were no Ultra Redhot sunglows on the floor, so I asked if they had any. Terry checked and said there was one in the crate. He asked if he could get me a price and have mine appraised. This was indeed the best experience I have ever had buying any vehicle. Terry and everyone at the dealership were an absolute pleasure to work with. all of this was on a Wednesday. That Saturday we took delivery of "RUBY" 2009 Ultra Classic in RedHot Sunglow. Then to my surprise about 2 weeks later, We recieved a plaque in the mail with our bike sitting in front of Old Glory,signed by Terry & Steve.
This is something that I never expected but am very proud of. Thank you all so much. We will be back.

"My purchase experience was as expected except for Tracey,he was exceptional in his role and is very enjoyable to work with. The defining difference for the dealership and the people there was the day after I picked up my FLHTCU,I noticed an unusual idle and an indicator light when we were starting a day ride. I called OGHD and Brittany said bring it on by they would be waiting. They checked it out and soon were elbow deep in the dash. Two hours later it wasn't looking good for the ride, Bob Supler came by and told me he was preparing another bike for my wife and I so we could enjoy the November day and still get a ride in instead of hanging around the dealership, That was a surprise! Just then Fred burst through the door and excitedly(for him) asked if we had left yet. Needless to say that got my attention to see what they had found that had eluded them for a couple of hours. The problem was easily fixed in 2 minutes and shortly after we were on our way.We left OGHD and still made 250 miles that day on our new bike. Many thanks to Donnie, Fred, Brittany, Bob,Tom,Tracey and all the others there who took the time and made the effort to make this day turn out as good as it did. "

"I took delivery on a 105th Anniversary, Dyna Super Glide Custom last night. However, my story begins 1 year ago when I purchased a 2007 Sportster XL1200L from Old Glory H-D. To make a long story short, I had more than the usual share of problems with it. Everyone at Old Glory, including Steve Scalia (the owner), said they never have seen a Sportser with the number of problems mine had. I have to tell you, that Old Glory took care of every problem and it never cost me a dime, only time and frustration, which they tried to keep to a minimum. It got to the point where Steve Scalia called me at home and asked for one more chance to make the bike right, but if they couldn't he would see to it that I got a bike that runs without problems. Well, last night he and everybody else at Old Glory made good on that promise. They worked out a trade in on my Sporty for the Super Glide and all I can say is, it was a great deal. I've never run into a business that has treated me like family, like these guys have. I never had to get hot under the collar. Carlos Riley (Svc. Mgr.), and Steve, and Bob Supler (General Mgr.) all went out of their way to make things right. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. -- Dave Sherman"

" Having been a rider for over 30 years it finally happened last spring. My new Streetglide got crushed in an unaviodable accident. I heard about a killer new HD dealership In MD. Friends put me in contack with Steve, Ryan and Tony Vanschoor to help me put her back together. Tony helped me pick all the right parts and some new ones as well. The ordering process was an extremely long one due to unexpected circumstances at the Harley Plant. "Have you ever had an experience you just can't believe? Well, I had just that experience this week at Old Glory HD. I have not had a bike for more than 25 years. Needless to say in that time period alot has changed. I met Dave Thomas, Sales Consultant on Saturday. Once he understood my situation, he spent the next two hours, working his way around the showroom floor explaining the differences between each family and model motorcycle in the store. I learned more in those two hours about the entire line of Harley bikes than I had learned over the last year making over a dozen visits to the local dealership in my area. To my disbelief, not one time during the discussion did he ever try to actually sell me a bike. His only objective was to make sure that I understood the features and differences between each of the bikes and that I select the bike that was best for me. Dave's professionialism and passion for Harley motorcycles was exceptional. A few days later (Tuesday)I returned and bought the bike of my dreams. Since the weather way pretty good on Wednesday, I wanted to take deliver and ride the bike home. Problem: Dave's day off is Wednesday. No Problem: He said he would come in on his day off to delivery the bike (unbelievable). Dave went out of his way to make my experience the best. Dave and the rest of the staff (Tracy,Nick,Russell,Jason,Tim,Bob,I'm sure I've missed someone) at Old Glory have made this experience great. I believe it was Ashley who drove to another dealership (on her own time) to pickup a helmet for my son, (who also purchased a bike)when the helmet he wanted was not in stock. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty for your customers. They all are the GREATEST!!! "

I’d like to thank the young lady at the merchandise counter who drove to Annapolis Harley on her way to work so that she could pick up a helmet for me. Old Glory sold out of the size I needed and I planned on picking up my bike the next day, way to soon for UPS to deliver it. " Here is the "Birth" announcement that my wife sent all of our friends.
Here's our new baby, isn't she beautiful?!!!! Birth weight is way over 800 lbs, Easy delivery ..no labor pains. LOL. Delivered last week, but we left her at the dealership for the hmmmmm...... shell we say for a few "not necessary" but LUST after and have to have "little" extra's like the top of the line pipes . LOL Brought her home Friday, and proud to say she is very happy in her nursery. Just hate that "breaking" in period of 500 miles.LOL

This is one cool place, the promotion for the first 50 buyers is awesome, when the first 50 Harley buyers close the deal and are ready to bring there baby home they are presents with a flag of the state that joined the Union on that date. We got our Ohio flag (State entry #17). Then the day you bring your "baby" home you insert the flag on the wall of the first 50 states.. When all the first 50 states flag's have been placed on the wall, there will be a big blow out celebration for all the 50 buyers. It's kind of bad when your parts people don't even let you know that he knows you are even there waiting. I will keep coming in to your dealership because I do like what I have seen so far. "I have been to your dealership numerous times since you opened, some times to make a purchase and other times just to come in and browse and hang out. And each time I received nothing but courtesy and friendship from everyone.
I just recently had my 5000 mile service done on my Ulta Classic and to have a noise it was making checked out. Your service department people were great, they asked plenty of questions to be sure they new exactly what I wanted. The bike was ready when promised and the service people explained everything to my satisfaction, including the noise problem which they fixed (loose primary chain).
Although I missed your Public Open House (unavoidable) you can count on me being at your Grand Opening on April 14th and looking for a good time.
Great start to your dealership and I am looking forward to the HOG chapter, thanks.

Was told by service department that my bike would be delayed another 5-7 days, due to a part missing from shipment.
